is the winner and owner of all special prizes of the International Conducting Competition named after Antonio Pedrotti (Italy, 2006), laureate of the first prize at the 1st All-Russian Music Competition with a degree in opera and symphony conducting (Moscow, 2011). In 2021, he became a laureate of the Russian Presidential Prize for young persons of culture "for contribution to the development of the traditions of Russian musical art and educational activities."
Born in Moscow in the family of the famous Greek conductor Dimitris Botinis Sr., who gave him his first conducting lessons. Graduated from the Municipal Conservatory in Patras (Greece) as a violinist. He mastered the art of conducting under the guidance of Professor Yuri Simonov at master courses in Hungary, then at St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov, which he graduated with honors.
In September 2022, he accepted the offer of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra to become its artistic director and chief conductor.
From 2015 to 2022, he was the chief conductor of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the North Caucasian State Philharmonic Society named after. V. I. Safonov. Since 2022, he has been the principal guest conductor of the orchestra.
From 2011 to 2021 – assistant conductor of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Philharmonic Society (Artistic director and chief conductor – Yuri Simonov). Since 2021 – conductor of the orchestra.
From 2011 to 2016 took part in the International “Musical Olympus” Festival. In 2012, the conductor made his debut with the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, and began cooperation with St. Petersburg Music House.
Maestro collaborates with leading Russian ensembles, including: Honored Collective of Russia St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, State Orchestra of Russia named after E.F. Svetlanov, Grand Symphony Orchestra named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, Russian National Orchestra, State Symphony Orchestra "New Russia", St. Petersburg Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Ural Academic Philharmonic Orchestra, and State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the season 2019/20, he performed for the first time with Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra.
Toured to Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Estonia, South Korea, Greece, and Cyprus.
By order of the Bavarian Radio, he recorded masterpieces of Russian composers with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra.and chief conductor.
