Vladimir Fedoseev is a legend of the modern musical world. This year the maestro will celebrate his 85th birthday, and one of the first events devoted to this important date is his performance in the program of Trans-Siberian Art Festival.
He began his career as a symphonic conductor at the invitation of the great Mravinsky. As an opera conductor he made his debut on the stage of Mariinsky Theater. Since 1974, Fedoseev is the head of the collective, which is one of the symbols of Russian culture for the whole world – Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra.

With Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra maestro Fedoseev will perform music of early romanticism. The program of the second part is a look at romanticism in the era of its heyday. The soloist is Nicholas Angelich (USA). This pianist is called an outstanding interpreter of classical and romantic musical heritage. He performs in the best halls around the world. In the chamber format, he collaborates with such musicians as Martha Argerich, Yo Yo Ma, Gauthier Kapuson, Reno Kapuson, Maxim Vengerov, Akiko Suwanai, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Joshua Bell, Gerard Kosse and other famous artists.
