The Stradivarius violin sounded in Ordynskoye, today Iskitim will hear it

On 18th and 19th of April stars of Trans-Siberian Art Festival perform in the cities of Novosibirsk region – Ordynskoye and Iskitim with an exclusive program. On 18th of April the program of chamber music, specially prepared for listeners of the regional centers, sounded in the regional House of Culture of the town Ordynskoye; today it will be performed at the House of Culture "Youth" of the city Iskitim. On the stage there are the stars of Trans-Siberian Art Festival Clara-Jumi Kang (violin), Henri Demarquette (cello) and Sergei Tarasov (piano). Clara-Jumi Kang plays a unique violin "Ex-Strauss", created by the legendary master Antonio Stradivari in 1708.

The concert was wonderful, the public reception was very warm. Before the concert, the musicians talked to the media of Ordynskoye. The concert was attended by Sergey Semenov, head of Ordynskoye district administration - told Tatiana Lyudmilina, general director of the Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society, - The hall was full, and all listeners were sincerely and deeply interested. Henri Demarquette after the show admitted that he really liked the reception. He literally said: "People here feel the music with their souls”.

We can confidently say that the musicians with worldwide recognition performed in Ordynskoye for the first time, as well as it was the first time for the citizens of the town when they heard the sound of a Stradivarius violin. Though, collectives of Novosibirsk Philharmonic regularly perform in Novosibirsk region, and, in particular, in Ordynskoye. There is a Philharmonic subscription in the town.

The concerts in the cities of Novosibirsk region with the participation of Trans-Siberian Art Festival stars is an integral part of its program from the first year of the project. In previous years, concerts were held in Berdsk and Iskitim, this year the geography of concerts included Iskitim and Ordynskoye. Each concert in the region is attended by the invited musicians from around the world, who perform with big concerts at the main venue of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival - in the Arnold Kats State Concert Hall in Novosibirsk.

Clara-Jumi Khan began studying violin when she was three years old and at the age of six appeared on the front page of German edition “Die Zeit”. A pupil of the legendary Zakhar Bron performs with the most prestigious orchestras in the world. Among her engagements for the current concert season there are performances with the orchestra "Kremerata Baltica" conducted by Gidon Kremer, the orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi" conducted by Vladimir Spivakov, and also with orchestras in Japan, South Korea, Macau, Germany and other countries.

At the last competition named after Tchaikovsky Clara-Jumi did not become the owner of the medal, having received IV Prize, but the impression she had made on the public, including me, was huge - says Vadim Repin, artistic director of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival. - Her performance there was an absolute impulse to the development of her career in a new way. And I thought I should invite her to perform in Novosibirsk - because it is an outstanding talent, very rare you can hear such young performers”.

Along with Clara-Jumi Kang on the stage there are "the maître of the French Cello" Henri Demarquette and the winner of numerous international competitions, including one of the world's most prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition - pianist Sergei Tarasov.

In the exclusive program, which is performed in the framework of Trans-Siberian Art Festival only in Iskitim and Ordynskoye there are compositions of chamber music of 18th and 19th century: the final of the Piano trios by Joseph Haydn, Sonata for Violin and Piano by César Franck and Sonata for cello and piano by Johannes Brahms.

The organizers of the Festival are Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society and Vadim Repin’s Fund. The project is supported by the Governor and the Government of Novosibirsk Region.
