On 28th of December ticket sales for the concerts of Vadim Repin’s Fourth Trans-Siberian Art Festival were opened. Ticket prices of the Festival concerts are set almost twice lower compared to the previous festival. The biggest international music forum of our country will bring together 14 concerts. On 28th of December tickets for the concerts of Vadim Repin’s Trans-Siberian Art Festival, which will be held in Novosibirsk from 15th of March to 2nd of April 2017, went on sales. The average set price of tickets for the festival in 2017 is almost twice lower than the prices of the previous festival

«Trans-Siberian Art Festival is one of the most important cultural projects of Novosibirsk region - said Beibit Mukhamedin, director general of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic, - the principal factor in the organization of the festival is that the funds for the festival are allocated from the regional budget, it is taxpayers' money. Therefore, in my opinion, it is clear that the price of the festival concerts should be moderate, available to any resident of our region. The average ticket price this year is almost twice lower than in the past - 900 rubles compared to 1600 rubles».

Minimum ticket price for most concerts is now 300 rubles, while in the past festival the cheapest tickets in Arnold Kats State Concert Hall costed 1000 rubles.

«The highest prices this year are set for a concert by Vladimir Spivakov and the State chamber orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi" – they are from 700 to 5000 rubles, and the performance of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Fedoseyev – they are from 700 to 3000 rubles. The ticket prices for the remaining concerts of the festival do not exceed 1,500 rubles», – says Beibit Mukhamedin.

Vadim Repin’s Trans-Siberian Art Festival will be held in Novosibirsk for the fourth time from 15th of March to 2nd of April. In 2017 the festival will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Novosibirsk region. Some concerts are also devoted to anniversaries.

The first concert of the festival is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society - the biggest concert organizations in the country, being the main partner of Vadim Repin in the organization and leading the festival from the beginning of its history. At the concert on 15th of March Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will perform – the leading Philharmonic collective, basic team of the festival. American music program will sound under the baton of maestro Lawrence Foster (USA), soloist is pianist Dana Chiokarli (France).

The concert on 20th of March will be devoted to 60th anniversary of Novosibirsk Conservatory, where together with student collectives the graduators of Zakhar Bron class will perform – Vadim Repin and Natalia Prishchepenko, conductor is Alexey Shatsky.

Also in the frameworks of the festival there will be traditional concerts in the cities of Novosibirsk Region – Islitim, Ordynskoye and Berdsk. The forum program will include traditional project "Children - to children", programs of chamber music, demonstration of Bruno Monsaingeon’s movies and creative meeting with him, as well as many other events. Invited collective of this year's festival will be State Chamber Orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi".

One of the key participants of the project remains Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra, which will perform in five programs. Vadim Repin has repeatedly emphasized the crucial role played by the collective in the implementation plan of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival. Also in the festival concerts will feature such collectives of Novosibirsk Philharmonic as Chamber Orchestra and Choir Chapel.

The main venue of the festival has always remained Arnold Kats State Concert Hall - the new Philharmonic Hall, which was opened in 2013 and, according to Vadim Repin, became one of the necessary conditions for the implementation of the idea of the festival.

The first Trans-Siberian Art Festival was held in March-April 2014, it was dedicated to the memory of the conductor Arnold Kats, who created in 1956 Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and directed it until passing away in 2007.
