Insula Magica in Croatia

Ensemble of early music Insula Magica is back from Croatia, where he took part in the 43rd International Festival «Varaždin Baroque Evenings». Teams from Europe, as well as from Moscow and St. Petersburg, also performed on the stage Varaždin together with Novosibirsk musicians.
— Our concerts took place in St. Nicholas Church, the oldest in Varazdin, which was a special honor for us. The audience, which has 43 years of experience of listening to different musicians, welcomed us warmly. Everybody noted that we did not just play music but reproduced the whole performance and brought a colour of a bygone era — said Natalia Avdeeva, the director of the ensemble Insula Magica.
The festival «Varaždin Baroque Evenings» has been taking place since 1971 under the auspices of the President of Croatia.
