Celebration of the ninetieth anniversary of Arnold Kats, who created Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra in 1956 and was its principal conductor until his death in 2007, will be short but rich in content. Acting Minister of Culture of Novosibirsk region Vasily Kuzin, Director of Novosibirsk state philharmonic society Tatiana Lyudmilina, Artistic Director of state philharmonic society Vladimir Kaluzhsky and director of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra Lev Krokushansky announced the anniversary program of September 16-24, which will open next philharmonic season.
