On April 24th Director General of Novosibirsk Philharmonic, Beibit Mukhamedin took part in a meeting of the leaders of philharmonic societies of Siberia Regions with Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian Federation President in the Siberian Federal District Sergey Menyailo and the Minister of Culture of Novosibirsk Region Igor Reshetnikov. The meeting was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of Novosibirsk Region and Novosibirsk State Philharmonic.

On April 24th in Arnold Kats State Concert Hall two concerts of Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra were held under the conduction of Valery Gergiev. The musician came to the stage of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society for the second time in the concert season: his previous performance took place in October. There was a noontime charity performance and also an evening concert, tickets for which were on sale. In both programs Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev performed. Performances were held within the framework of XVI Moscow Easter Festival. The festival is dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of Igor Stravinsky.

On April 17th a solemn event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Novosibirsk Philharmonic was held at Arnold Kats State Concert Hall. At the ceremony veterans and todays workers of the Philharmonic Society were honored.

On April 24th in Arnold Kats State Concert Hall a concert of Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra will be held under the conduction of Valery Gergiev. Also a charity concert of Stradivari-Ensemble of Mariinsky Theater, soloist and conductor - Lorentz Nasturika-Gershovichi is planned. Performances will be held within the framework of XVI Moscow Easter Festival. The festival is dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of Igor Stravinsky.

On 3rd of April in Novosibirsk Trans-Siberian Art Festival was finished with a concert by Vadim Repin, Alexander Buzlov and Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Gintaras Rinkevicius. For 20 days the events of the festival - concerts and master classes - were attended by about 17 thousand people. Another 6 thousand people watched the online broadcast of the concerts of the festival. For the first time in the history of the project, tickets for most concerts were sold out long before the start of the festival.

On 1st of April within the framework of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival the "Children-to-children" program was held. The project became an integral part of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, and remains one of the most charming and anticipated events of its program. This year, the cultural and educational project TONALI-Tour-Transsiberian, organized jointly with the German national TONALi contest, also entered the program of the festival. In its framework Novosibirsk schoolchildren acted as art-managers.
