On 2 March a rarity spiritual program will be premiered in the Philharmonic Chamber Hall by the ensemble «Markell’s voices». It will be an authentic reconstruction of «All-night Vigil» by singing of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, one of the first monasteries in Kiev Russia.

The Grammy Laureate, early music specialist, harpist Andrew Lawrence-King (Great Britain) will perform in Novosibirsk together with the ensemble of early music “Insula Magica”. The musician received one of the most prestigious awards of the music industry in 2010: the CD “The Borgia Dynasty”, featuring Andrew Lawrence-King as a part of the team Hesperion XXI, won the award for “Best Small Ensemble Performance”.

From 22 January to 9 February Novosibirsk philharmonic chamber orchestra performed in Switzerland, Belgium and Italy in the frames of the program of cultural exchange.

Chamber orchestra CD “Tongues of fire” recorded under the direction of Rainer Held from Switzerland is acknowledged as a part of «Gramophone Critics Choices 2012", The UK.

The documentary “Arnold Kats. Remember.” will be premiered on February 13 at 12.00 at the Big Hall of the cinema theatre “Pobeda” (Lenina-str., 7). The film is made by the interregional social organization “Meetings in Siberia” with the support of the Ministry of culture of Novosibirsk region, “Siberian Fond of modern art” and West-Siberian film studio.
