Olga Osipova

Olga Osipova was born in Tomsk. In 1987 she has finished theoretical course of Novosibirsk State Conservatory (Academy) named after M.I. Glinka (history of music, the class of professor V.M. Kaluzhsky). She also took vocal classes at professor R.I. Zhukova.

From 1986 to 1992 she worked in the Novosibirsk Chamber Choir (musician of the choir and music editor). She sang as a member of Pavel Sharomov Vocal Ensemble (since the foundation of the collective until 2009).

Olga Osipova performed solo parts in opera productions: "Dido and Aeneas" by G. Purcell (Belinda); "Acis and Galatea" by G.F Handel (Galatea); fragments of the operas "Alcides" "Son of the Contender", "Falcon" by D. Bortnyansky; in cantata-oratorical compositions: cantatas “Magnificat”, “Passion for Matthew” by I.S Bach, “Messiah” by G. F. Handel, cantatas by G. Schütz, H. Telemann, D. Buxtehude, A. Hammerschmidt, motet "Exultate jubilate", "Requiem", Coronation Mass, Mass in C minor, etc.; early Masses by Mozart, cantata "Orpheus", "Stabat Mater" by D.B. Pergolesi, "Motet in furrore" by A. Vivaldi, Mass in E minor by F. Schubert, "Requiem" by G. Bieber, "German Requiem" by I. Brahms.

As a chamber soloist she performed arias and romances of I.S. Bach, G. Telemann, J.F. Ramo, F. Couperin, D. Scarlatti, W. Mozart, F. Schubert, I. Brahms, G. Donizetti, V. Bellini, G. Verdi, A. Varlamov, A. Gurilev, M. Glinka, A. Dargomyzhsky, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov, S. Prokofiev, I. Bershadsky. In the chamber repertoire there are works seldom sounding on the concert stage (f.e. "Shepherd on the Hill" by F. Schubert).

Within the framework of the Russian program "New Names" (project manager is I. Arkhipova) Olga conducted classes on vocals and world art culture in the city of Suzdal (1999-2000).

Olga Osipova released two solo CDs: "Schubert. Songs", "Golden Songs of Romanticism".

She actively collaborates with the ensemble "Surprise" and also tours a lot.

In 2002 Olga Osipova graduated from Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M.I. Glinka (vocal, class of Professor R.I Zhukova).

Since 2009 she has been a soloist of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society.
