On April 24th, the closing day of Trans-Siberian Art Festival, in front of the Arnold Kats State Concert Hall there was held the planting of Apple Alley devoted to the forthcoming 80th anniversary of the Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society in the new concert season.

Participants of the planting were the world-famous violinist Vadim Repin, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Vladimir Gorodetsky, the Minister of Culture of the Novosibirsk region, Igor Reshetnikov, Novosibirsk Mayor Anatoly Lokot, Head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Mayor’s Office of Novosibirsk Anna Tereshkova, chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Novosibirsk Region Andrei Shimkiv, as well as the general director of the Novosibirsk state Philharmonic Society Tatiana Lyudmilina, artistic director of the Novosibirsk state Philharmonic Society Vladimir Kaluzhsky, director of the Siberian branch of PJSC Moscow Exchange Nikolai Anokhin, representatives of philharmonic collectives.

«Next season is very important for the Philharmonic: it will be held under the sign of the 80th anniversary. Key events of our new concert year will be devoted to this date - said Tatiana Lyudmilina, general director of the Novosibirsk State Philharmonic, - Planting the Apple Alley will be the first in a series of events on the 80th anniversary of the Philharmonic. And, it seems to me very correct and nice that this memorable event will be attended by representatives of the authorities, and Vadim Repin, whose Trans-Siberian Art Festival is an integral and important part of our season (the same as Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society is a key partner in the implementation of this brilliant project), and, of course, representatives of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic collectives.

The partner of the event is PJSC Moscow Exchange.
