This week Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra will travel to Novosibirsk with two concerts
On 6th of October it Arnold Kats State Concert Hall two concerts of Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev will be held. Concert for children will be held on a charitable basis, tickets for the evening concert, where also participate the soloists and the choir of the Mariinsky Theatre, are on sale at the price from 300 to 500 rubles. Both programs will be conducted by Valery Gergiev.
On 6th of October Novosibirsk Philharmonic will receive at its main venue it Arnold Kats State Concert Hall the soloists, choir and Mariinski Theatre Orchestra led by the theater's artistic director Valery Gergiev.
"The decision to hold the concert in Novosibirsk was taken by Maestro himself, Igor Reshetnikov, the Minister of Culture of the Novosibirsk region, and me. There was a free date in the Orchestra’s Russian Tour schedule and it was decided to fill it with concerts in Novosibirsk, - says Beibit Mukhamedin, Director General of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society, - This is no doubt a good test of strength for the Philharmonic collective because we have limited time. But at the same time, of course, it's a great joy to meet such outstanding collective and great conductor. Due to the fact that the concert appeared in our playbill only today, we deliberately offer the audience a very low ticket prices. To listen to this colelctive for the price of a ticket from 300 to 500 rubles is an incredible gift to all music lovers".
At 16.30 in Arnold Kats State Concert Hall charity concert for children will be held: Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev will perform symphonic tale by Sergei Prokofiev "Peter and the Wolf." During a half-hour concert maestro Gergiev is also planning to talk with the young music lovers. Soloists, choir and Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev will perform at 18.00 on the stage of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall. The cost of the concert tickets will be 300-500 rubles. Tickets are available both at the ticket office and on the Philharmonic website for purchase online.
Soloists, Choir and Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra with Valery Gergiev will arrive in Novosibirsk on 6th of October after a concert in Tomsk; after a performance in Novosibirsk charter plane will take the musicians to Khabarovsk. Performances will be held in the framework of large Russian tour.
