The International Student Jazz Festival ended with a big concert of its participants on the stage of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society

On May 20, at the round stage of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall, the evening jam session completed the program of the XI International Student Jazz Festival.

Before that, a big concert took place on the main stage. Participants: jazz orchestra of NSTU (artistic director and conductor - Yury Minyailo), ensemble of Berklee college of music (Boston, USA) "New Spirit", Big-Band of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society (artistic director - Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Tolkachev).

The concert was a bright final point of the extensive festival program, which lasted from May 18 to May 20. The forum was full of concerts, master classes and informal communication of students. The musicians from BERKLEE college of music which is considered to be one of the best educational institutions in the world, arrived at the festival in Novosibirsk.

Young soloists performed with the jazz orchestra of NSTU: Polina Petrova, Victoria Verba, Yulia Butyleva.

The evening ended with a traditional jam session on the round stage of the State Concert Hall. Kats: professional musicians and jazz lovers played together.
