The artistic director of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society Vladimir Kaluzhsky was awarded a special prize at the festival "Paradise"

On November 20, Novosibirsk Philharmonic Chamber Hall hosted the awards distribution of Novosibirsk Professional Theater Competition – “Paradise”.  A special prize "For outstanding contribution to the development of musical theater art in Novosibirsk" was awarded at the ceremony to the artistic director of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kaluzhsky.

This award appreciated the many-year contribution of Vladimir Kaluzhsky to the development of the musical theater in Novosibirsk.

Vladimir Kaluzhsky is a member of the International Society of Music Education, a board member of Novosibirsk branch of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia and a long-time chairman of the Expert Council and the jury of the “Paradise Prize” in the competition of musical theaters.

He is also a critic and librettist, script-writer and public figure, musician, director and conductor of musical projects, author of books, TV and radio programs, educational projects dedicated to music and the musical theater.

In Russia Vladimir Kaluzhsky is known as the founder and artistic director of the Children's and Youth Philharmonic, the creator Novosibirsk Children's Theater “World of Music”, and the teacher of Novosibirsk State Theater Institute.
