Opera singer, played with Placido Domingo in film-opera "Rigoletto" will perform in Novosibirsk without fee

On 3rd of March at 19.00 Julia Novikova, the star of world opera soprano, will perform in the Charity Gala Concert "Dedication to Conservatory". In 2010, Julia took part in the live television broadcast of "Rigoletto" from Mantua, carried by 138 countries, with Placido Domingo. In Novosibirsk the singer will perform without a fee.

On 3rd of March Julia Novikova, Russian soprano with international career, will perform in Novosibirsk. The singer will take part in a charity gala concert "Dedication to Conservatory." Virtuoso violinist Mikhail Simonyan, the soloist of Vienna and Metropolitan Opera Dmytro Popov (tenor), Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and Singapore Conductor Darrell Ang will come to the stage together with her that evening. All musicians will perform at the concert without fee.

Yulia Novikova got the worldwide success after her participation in the broadcast of the "Rigoletto in Mantua" in 2010, which was broadcast live to 138 countries. Her stage partner was legendary singer Placido Domingo: he performed the title role, Julia Novikova - the role of Gilda, Rigoletto's daughter. The performance directed by Marco Bellocchio was conducted by Zubin Mehta.

Julia Novikova won several international competitions. One of the crown parties of Julia is Queen of the Night at the Opera "The Magic Flute" by Mozart. With it, she shone in theaters in Bonn and Frankfurt, in Hamburg, Berlin, and Vienna State Opera. Mozart debut of young singer in the famous Viennese theater was so successful that in 2010 she was invited to its troupe.

Concert "Dedication to Conservatory" will take place at 19.00 in Arnold Kats State Concert Hall on 3rd of March 3 Katz. The project is carried out in support of Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M.I. Glinka. The initiator of this project is a student of Novosibirsk Conservatory, violinist, conductor, president of Cultural and Educational Programs Fund "Open Sea" Mikhail Simonyan, at whose invitation renowned contemporary musicians will participate in the program. All artists will perform without fee, collected earnings from the concert will go to support the educational activities of Conservatory.

Glinka.

 The charity concert was organized by the Cultural and Educational Programs Fund "Open Sea", together with the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Cultural Heritage", Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society and is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Governor of Novosibirsk region V.F. Gorodetsky.
