Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and Vadim Repin will give 6 concerts in the framework of the tour around Europe

On 14th of May Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will go on tour in Europe. Conducted by its artistic director and chief conductor Gintaras Rinkevicius, the collective will give 6 concerts in the cities of Italy, Slovenia and Croatia. Solo in all programs will be a native of Novosibirsk, the famous violinist, artistic director of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival Vadim Repin.

The first concert of the tour of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Gintaras Rinkevicius and the violinist Vadim Repin will be held on 15th of May in Bergamo in the oldest hall of the Teatro Donizetti. The program of the concert will feature Spanish Capriccio by Rimsky-Korsakov, Concerto for Violin by Bruch and Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven. The same program will be presented by the musicians the next day, on May 16th in Brescia in the Teatro Grande Hall.

On 17th of May the musicians will enter the stage of Teatro Ristori in Verona. In the program there will be Spanish capriccio by Rimsky-Korsakov, Concerto for violin No. 2 by Prokofiev and Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven.

On 18th of May the orchestra will perform in Udine at the Teatro Giovanni da Udine. The Spanish capriccio by Rimsky-Korsakov, Violin Concerto No. 2 by Prokofiev, as well as Francesca da Rimini and the suite from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty will be performed.

On May the 19th the concert will take place in Slovenia, Ljubljana in the hall of Cankarjev Dom. The musicians will perform the Italian Capriccio by Tchaikovsky, Violin Concerto No. 2 by Prokofiev, as well as Scheherazad by Rimsky-Korsakov.

The same program on May the 20th in Croatia in Zagreb on the Lisinski Hall stage will finish the tour of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra in Italy.
