Concerts with Irina Stachinskaya in Novosibirsk

The “All-Russian Philharmonic Seasons” project, implemented by Moscow State Philharmonic Society and Ministry of Culture of Russia since 2003, allows Novosibirsk citizens not only to enjoy the masterpieces of world classics of academic music, but also to hear at Novosibirsk Philharmonic concert venues performances by leading artists who have already won world recognition. In the current season, the stage of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall has already hosted Zlata Chochieva (piano, Moscow) and the Mariinsky Theater Chorus (St. Petersburg).

On November 10 and 11, the soloist Irina Stachinskaya (flute, Moscow) will perform with Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Thomas Sanderling. Irina Stachinskaya is laureate of international competitions, owner of a unique golden instrument from Powell; she will perform the first of the two concerts by Mozart for flute and orchestra in the framework of the “Evenings with Symphony Orchestra-2” subscription which is so loved by Novosibirsk Philharmonic’s listeners. The concert program will also include music by Shchedrin and Ravel.
