On December 24, the XII International Christmas Arts Festival ended by the performance of Teodor Currentzis and the orchestra MusicAeterna in Novosibirsk. At the concert the 7th "Leningrad" Symphony by Dmitry Shostakovich was performed.

On 19 December, at the International Christmas Festival of Arts in Novosibirsk, one of the most unusual concerts took place: the trombonist from Sweden Elias Faingersh and Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra (artistic director and chief conductor - Thomas Sanderling) performed at Arnold Kats State Concert Hall. On 18 December, the Central Military Band of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation gave its only concert in Novosibirsk in the frames of the International Christmas Festival of Arts.

On 12 December at the XII International Christmas Festival two premieres at once took place: cellist Fedor Amosov and ensemble of soloists "Novosibirsk Camerata" presented to the audience a program from the works of the composers of the Bach dynasty and our contemporary Nikolai Kapustin.
