September 21 Pavel Sharomov Vocal ensemble will open a series of concerts dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the collective with premiere of the program "Red and White". The jubilee series will include three concerts, and its culmination will be held on November 17.

On September 21 on the stage of Philharmonic Chamber Hall Pavel Sharomov ensemble will present the premiere of the program "Red and White", which is dedicated to the centenary of the revolution. Romances and songs of Russian revolutions era will sound in the author's arrangements of Novosibirsk composer Roman Stolyar, made specially for this program.

“Our collective has a tradition to open a new season with a premiere, which we try to make unlike other programs," says artistic director, Honored Artist of Russia Pavel Sharomov. - The concept of the program, where music of the Russian revolutions of the twentieth century will sound, was born with the composer Roman Stolyar two years ago, however, in the process of work it was transformed. Russian revolutions of the twentieth century have changed the world greatly, and therefore the second section is devoted to Western European music as a response to the political processes in our country”.

The first part of the program "Red and White" will include the music of the Russian revolution through the eyes of two opposing sides - red and white, which formed the concept basis of the program. There will be famous revolutionary songs, and also compositions by Dunaevsky, Vertinsky and others. The second part is dedicated to the music of Cardew, the band Jefferson Airplane, the songs of the Latin American Revolution, also several legendary songs by John Lennon will sound.

October 24 cycle to the 25th anniversary of the band will continue the legendary BEATLES mania program, where the original arrangements of the Liverpool Four will be performed. On November 17, the jubilee cycle will end with a big concert, which will include both the most beloved performances, and surprises from the artists of Pavel Sharomov Vocal Ensemble and the band's friends.
