To the 60th anniversary of Novosibirsk state conservatory named after M.I. Glinka
Novosibirsk State Conservatory, which has been graduating great musicians for decades, celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2016. The festive concert will demonstrate the main conservatory departments - choral, conducting, piano and, of course, string instruments. Particular attention will be paid to the department of folk instruments. Rare instruments of the peoples of Siberia will be presented along with the traditional instruments.
On the stage this evening will perform: one of the first graduates, the creator of the choral theater Boris Pevzner, world-famous violinists Natalia Prischepenko and Vadim Repin, current students, graduates of different years and today's teachers. A parade of excellent pianists will perform plays from "Pictures at an Exhibition" by M. Mussorgsky. The performance is accompanied by a demonstration of paintings by Victor Hartmann, which did inspire the composer.
