SibJazzFest-2019 presents: a creative meeting with renowned jazz photographers and the opening of a photo exhibition of their best works will take place on May 21th.

The international jazz festival SibJazzFest-2019 is positioned as a cultural forum that includes, in addition to concert programs and traditional sessions, a charity event, an educational program, and a project related to jazz photography.
May 21st at 17 o'clock in the lobby of the first floor of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall will host the opening of a photo exhibition of jazz photography, which will feature works by renowned masters Patrick Marek (Czech Republic) and Oleg Panov (Ukraine). These names are well known to all lovers of photography art and jazz as a musical direction. Pictures of Patrick Marek are printed by leading magazines and Internet portals: the title page of the American Bass Player (Avishai Cohen), photos in Jazz Japan, Modern Drummer, Rock & Pop, Barák, Harmonie, Mladá Fronta and others. He is invited to jazz festivals in the Czech Republic, Turkey, Poland and Romania. Marek is the founder of the prestigious Jazz World Photo Competition, which is held under the auspices of UNESCO and the Thelonious Monk Jazz Institute. Oleg Panov positions himself as an independent jazz photographer: he won first place in the international competition Jazz World Photo 2017.
The opening of the unique photo exhibition in Novosibirsk will be preceded by a creative meeting of jazz photography masters with colleagues and fans.
