On 20th October Polish Motion Trio will open the program of the international festival Sib Jazz Fest in Novosibirsk. The ensemble performs on the best stages of the world, collaborating with musicians of world size, such as Michael Nyman, Bobby McFerrin and Krzysztof Penderecki.

On 1st of October Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gintaras Rinkevicius performs in the Great Hall of Sverdlovsk Philharmonic in the framework of the IV Russian Symphony Forum. The concert will be broadcast on the websites of Sverdlovsk and Moscow Philharmonics. Russian Symphonic Forum gathers in Yekaterinburg leading collectives of the country every two years.

On 23rd of September in the Philharmonic Chamber Hall Filarmonica-Quartet presented the program "Formula of Success", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the collective. The concert program, along with classic, included jazz composition, created by the composer Igor Dmitriev specially to the anniversary of the quartet. At the concert musicians were awarded the rewards of Governor, Legislative Assembly of Novosibirsk Region and the mayor of the city Novosibirsk.

On 21st and 22nd October the sound at concerts of the international festival Sib Jazz Fest will be tuned by Andreas Adelhofer - world-class engineer, who has cooperated with such stars as ZZ Top, BB King, Ringo Starr, Joe Cocker, Backstreet Boys and many others. On 20th October specialists also invited from abroad will work at audio remote control.

Novosibirsk Philharmonic devotes a series of concerts to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Dmitri Shostakovich. Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will open the subscription season on 17th and 18th September with the composer's music program; on 21st September Ensemble of soloists “Novosibirsk Kamerata” will present the composer’s music. 110th anniversary of the birth of the greatest composers of the XX century the world will celebrate on 25th September.

On 17th and 18th September Lukas Geniušas, the winner of the XV International Competition named Tchaikovsky (2015) performs in Novosibirsk. Together with Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra pianist gives concert dedicated to the birthday of the founder of the orchestra Arnold Katz and 110th anniversary of composer Dmitry Shostakovich’s birth.

The 45th Festival of performers at stringed and plucked instruments Plectro de La Rioja was held from 22 to 28 August in Logroño (Spain). Participants of Novosibirsk Philharmonic’s Duo Resonance Yana Povolskikh (guitar) and Natalia Kravets (mandolin)became the invited guests of the festival, they performed two solo concerts, and met with the students of the Conservatory of Logroño.

Novosibirsk Philharmonic opened its 80th concert season with the performing of monumental cantata by Carl Orff "Carmina Burana" on 8th of September. In the evening of season opening a new Philharmonic collective – Novosibirsk Choir Chapel conducted by Igor Yudin came to the stage of Arnold Kats State Concert Hall for the first time. The opening of the season was held at the crowded hall, at the end the audience applauded the musicians standing.
