In September the first performances of philharmonic bands will take place on the stage of the concert hall named after Arnold Kats. Already now you could get a seat in the hall for these performances as well as for the whole season. Season tickets for concerts at the new Philharmonic Hall are on sale.

On 18 May Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society took part for the second time in the international event «Night of Museums». The organizers prepared a two-hour program, which included a concert in the Chamber Hall, Lenin House visit, exhibition «Masterpieces of world art.» Tantamareski were installed in the lobby, everyone could make a picture and feel himself a philharmonic artist.

On 14 May a solemn ceremony of delivery of the State Concert Hall named after Arnold Kats to the musicians of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society took place. The official opening of the hall to the audience is scheduled for September with the violinist Vadim Repin, the conductor Vladimir Spivakov and the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra.

On 12, 13 and 14 May the violinist Ilya Konovalov will perform in Novosibirsk. The musician will arrive to the native city with the violin “Hercules”, created by legendary Italian master Antonio Stradivari in 1732.

On 16 May a concert presentation of the album «Star bark» will take place in the philharmonic Music salon. This musical-poetic composition is addressed to the lovers of fine poetry and chamber music. The program was successfully performed in the walls of the Local History Museum. Three years later Elena Zabarskaya (soprano), Elena Popovskaya (piano) and Marina Yakushevitch (artistic presentation) decided to repeat the project in the Philharmonic walls.
