20 april
Novosibirsk Philharmonic Chamber Choir won in the category "adult groups" of All-Russian choral festival dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The final stage of the festival took place on May 6 at the Cultural Center of the Ministry of Defense in Moscow. On May 9 the participants of the final stage, including the Novosibirsk choir, performed at the open area in front of the Russian Army Theatre with the premiere of the song "Immortal regiment" accompanied by symphony orchestra.

From March 26 to April 1, the musicians visited three cities of Italy - Modena, Ala, Favria where the music competitions took place.
At the 1st International Competition of mandolin solo in Modena Natalia Kravets played two tours in one day and received the third place.
6 april
On April 5 the II Trans-Siberian Art Festival was closed by the concert of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Charles Dutoit with the soloists Vadim Repin and Alexander Knyazev. The Concerto for violin and cello by Brahms and Mahler’s Symphony №1 were performed.

On April 2 one of the most in-demand conductors of today Leonard Slatkin (USA) performed at the Trans-Siberian Art festival.  For his musical career of almost half a century, he has been worked with the best orchestras and the brightest performers of the world. The recordings of Maestro made with different teams were 64 times nominated for a Grammy and 7 times received this award!
In Novosibirsk Leonard Slatkin shared the stage with Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and the soloist - Japanese violinist Akiko Suwanai.

On April 1 three generations of violinists of the same school performed in Novosibirsk in the frames of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival: Zakhar Bron, his most famous pupil Vadim Repin and the young virtuosos of Bron’s class - Ellie Choi, Mone Hattori and Elvin Ganiev.
