The symphony orchestra has its own hall… Maestro Kats dreamed about it all his life. Now such hall exists in Novosibirsk and it is placed by the old address – Spartak-str., 11. On 25 December at 14.00 the State concert hall named after A.M. Kats was acoustically tested.

On 14 December the series of concerts «Panorama of music of Russia» was opened on the stage of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society. Works by composers of Moscow and Kazan were performed by Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and soloists from Moscow.

On 11 and 12 December the concerts of the string quartet Filarmonica in the halls of Moscow and St. Petersburg Philharmonic society took places. Novosibirsk musicians performed works by Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak and were highly appreciated by the capital experts.

On December 7 and 8 the best young Dutch orchestra «Sinfonia Rotterdam» and bandoneonist Carel Kraayenhof will perform in the frames of the International Festival «Classics» in Novosibirsk. Unexpectedly for the organizers the musicians decided to give one more performance right on the day of arrival – on December 6.

Novosibirsk Philharmonic society closes its jubilee year with the International Musical Festival «Classics». Time-tested music will be executed by the leading soloists of our time and creative teams that are the pride of Novosibirsk Philharmonic society.
