The variety orchestra is the youngest ensemble of Novosibirsk state philharmonic society. It was created in June 2008. It consists of: string section, winds, rhythm-section and vocal. The artists of the orchestra are gifted young musicians, graduates of Novosibirsk state conservatory (academy) named after M.I. Glinka.The Band quickly managed to find its mainstream creative direction: popular orchestral miniatures of Russian and foreign composers, music of movies, famous pop songs, popular jazz compositions. The Variety orchestra presents its own concerts and successfully cooperates with other groups of Novosibirsk Philharmonic.
The orchestra is always in search. In the short time the band prepared a series of successful programs, highly appreciated by the audience.
The variety orchestra is a Laureate of the first degree at the IV International Festival-Contest «Libertango» (Barnaul, 2011).
