Timur Gordeev (Schekaturin)
Timur Gordeev was born on 30th September 1968 in Kuibyshev (now - Samara).
For the first time goes on stage in 1973 as part of the Boys at Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M.I. Glinka under the conduction of People's Artist of Russia, Professor Vyacheslav Mochalov.
From 1987 to 1991 he was the soloist of the popular in the USSR group "Electroversion".
His debut solo album "Revelation" Timur recorded in Tver at the "League" studio in 1997. And from that year began his cooperation as a back-vocalist with Mikhail Krug.
In 2000 the professorship of the Beijing State Conservatory included Timur Gordeyev's solo album in the list of teaching aids for students in the collection "The Best Voices of the World". And in the same year Timur - the only performer from Russia - was invited to a series of gala concerts of the World Festival of Arts in Beijing in the category of academic vocal.
Since 2005, at the suggestion of N.V. Vysotsky and A.A Oleinikov Timur Gordeev became an active participant in the project "Vysotsky in Siberia." To the 60th anniversary of the Great Victory and in connection with the 25th anniversary of V. Vysotsky's death, the first collection of Vladimir Vysotsky's songs performed by Siberian artists, went out, including four compositions performed by Timur Gordeev ("Sons go into battle", "Ballad about the Earth", "Black Jackets", "Song of the Stars").
Today in the repertoire of Timur Gordeyev there are compositions by many authors: Vladimir Vysotsky, Andrei Shiryaev, Alexandra Pakhmutova, Yuri Gulyaev, Yevgeny Martynov, Igor Malinin and others.
The singer is actively touring in Russia and former soviet countries. He acts in the cinema, is engaged in pedagogical and social activities.
