Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra has long won fame outside Siberia, has become a cultural heritage not only of Novosibirsk, the Siberian region, but of Russia as a whole. This year the orchestra celebrates its 65th anniversary.

The new program from the cycle "65 Years of Triumph" includes the Russian premiere of a piano concert by Thomas #Ades, the most famous contemporary composer, conducted by Valentin #Uryupin, soloist - Stanislav #Khristenko (USA). “The Piano Concerto by Thomas Ades can be called the 'supernova' of this fascinating genre, the most notable piano concert of the last 10–20 years. Difficult to perform and easy to perceive, it makes you fall in love with it immediately, like the concerts of Rachmaninov, Prokofiev or Ravel. It is a great honor for me to be the first conductor of this concert after the author, under whose direction it has already flown all over the world, ”says conductor Valentin Uryupin. In addition to Ades concert, #Beethoven's Rondo for piano and orchestra, will be performed in Novosibirsk for the first time as well as Symphony №2 by #Brahms.
